Learn about Goddard's Writing Lab and the writing support that is available to you. You will also have an opportunity to work on the personal statement for your final product or critical paper with guidance from our writing coach, Santiago Crosby Vega. This is a required section of the critical paper and final product for both BA and MA students. It is where you connect your own lived experiences, identity, and caring to the topic and research question of your critical paper or final product.

Set up weekly, biweekly, or even a single appointment with writing coach Santiago Crosby Vega.

Dr Geneva Gay once said that learning to write using the conventions of academic writing and APA citations is like learning a new language. In this session, we work together to support all in learning how to access and use this new language while still holding onto our own strong, cultural, and beautiful voices. You can buy or order a copy of the 7th edition of the APA Manual; however, most of what you need can be found on their webpage: https://apastyle.apa.org/
